The Granite State 8-Hour Race will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012. The course is a very scenic out-and-back dirt trail along the Nashua River in Nashua, New Hampshire.
There is no entry fee. Please complete and sign the Registration form and e-mail a copy to the Race Director, Jim Simpson, at [email protected]. Prior registration is requested, but race day registration is available.
Starting time will be at 8:00 AM. The race start and finish at Mine Falls Park in Nashua, New Hampshire. Early starts are okay with prior approval of the Race Director.
This is a fatass event. Some aid will be provided in the parking lot, including some liquids and salty foods. Otherwise, please bring your own food and drinks, plus extra to share.
Each finisher will receive a finisher’s medal.

Driving directions: from Manchester, take the Frederick E. Everett turnpike (U.S. 3) south to exit 5, West Hollis Avenue (sr111). Go west 0.4 miles and take a right at Riverside Street. Take a left onto Stadium Drive and another right at the circular parking lot.
From either I-495 or I-95, exit north onto U.S. 3 and proceed to RI exit 5. Go west 0.4 miles and take a right at Riverside Street. Take a left onto Stadium Drive and another right at the circular parking lot.
The start and finish of the race (plus race day parking) will be at the Mine Falls Park circular parking lot. Athletes will run counter clockwise around the circular parking lot, counter clockwise around the large loop, and back to the circular parking lot five times (5.08 miles each). There will also be a short out and back of .4 miles (.8 miles total) for the marathon distance of 26.2 miles.
